In response to a call for art for International Women's Day Exhibition at the Orillia Museum of History and Art (2023), Filice and Klucowicz collaborated to concept a poem and visual art piece to exemplify the theme of REIMAGINE through both their art and story.

concept & inspiration

The underlying concept to this piece is to demonstrate the power of two-letter words to profile the strength of women. Our ambition is to have you receive and respond to the words and visuals, and allow them to act as a catalyst to conversations with others.

A constant dialogue led to surprising and exciting inspirations in both the poem and the artwork. Karen's palette and technique response to the written words of Cassandra, presents an expressive figure together with others that represent individuality and community.
